Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if one line fails to encode?

That specific line's error is shown in the status message, but it doesn't stop the rest of the batch — every other valid line still generates its QR code.

Does the size setting apply to all codes or just new ones?

It applies whenever you click "Generate all" — changing the size slider after generating requires clicking Generate all again to re-render every code at the new size.

Are blank lines in my input skipped?

Yes — empty lines (including trailing whitespace-only lines) are filtered out before generating, so they don't produce empty QR codes or break the line count.

How are the individual downloaded filenames generated?

Each filename is derived from the QR code's own text content (non-alphanumeric characters stripped, truncated to 40 characters), prefixed with "qr-", so files stay distinguishable even with dozens generated at once.

Does this use the same QR engine as the single QR Code Generator tool?

Yes — both load the same qrcode library dynamically from a CDN and render onto a canvas element, so output quality and QR version selection are identical.
