Cloudflare _redirects Tester
NewTest a Cloudflare Pages _redirects file against any URL path: see which rule matches, the resulting destination and status code, with splat and placeholder support.
Results
Mirrors Cloudflare Pages rules: first matching rule wins, * captures into :splat, :name placeholders match one path segment, default status is 302, and the query string is preserved unless the destination has its own. Pages allows up to 2,000 static and 100 dynamic redirects. Rules without a leading slash or full URL are invalid.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which syntax is supported?
Lines in the form "source destination [status]" with * splats, :placeholders and comments starting with #. The first matching rule wins.
Can _redirects match hostnames?
No. Cloudflare Pages _redirects matches paths only; for host-level redirects use a Pages Function or a Cloudflare Redirect Rule.
What is the default status code?
If you omit a status, 301 is used.
Does it match the real platform exactly?
It follows the documented behavior, but edge cases (limits, query handling) may differ, so confirm with a preview deploy.
