Docker Compose to Kubernetes Converter
NewConvert a docker-compose.yml into Kubernetes Deployment, Service and PersistentVolumeClaim manifests, with warnings for settings that need manual review.
Generates a Deployment per service, a Service for published/exposed ports and a PersistentVolumeClaim per named volume. Review the output: build contexts, networks, depends_on and secrets have no direct equivalent and must be handled separately.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from Kompose?
It runs in the browser with no install and produces plain, readable manifests, but covers fewer Compose features than Kompose.
What gets converted?
Images, commands, environment variables, ports, volumes and replicas become Deployments, Services and PVCs.
What needs manual work?
Networks, depends_on ordering, build contexts, secrets and healthchecks need review; warnings list them.
Is my file uploaded?
No, conversion happens locally.
