Frequently Asked Questions

Does this load Google Fonts or custom web fonts?

No. The choices are limited to system and web-safe stacks already built into the page. The preview only switches `font-family` values; it does not fetch external fonts.

What exactly does Copy CSS give me?

It outputs a simple snippet with `.page-title` for the heading family and `.page-body` for the body family. It does not generate variables, `@font-face`, or fallback commentary.

Are the recommended pairings editable?

Yes. Clicking a preset loads that heading/body combination, and you can then change either dropdown manually. The preview and CSS output always reflect the current selection.

Why does the heading preview text change when I switch fonts?

The tool rewrites the heading preview to show the selected font label followed by `heading preview`. It is a quick way to confirm which heading font is active.

What happens if a font in the stack isn't installed on the device?

Normal CSS fallback rules apply. Each option is already a stack, so the browser moves to the next family in that list.
