Open Graph / Social Card Preview
NewPreview how your page's Open Graph and Twitter Card tags render on Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and Slack, with the raw meta tags to copy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this fetch my page's real meta tags automatically?
No — everything runs client-side with no network requests to your site. You type or paste the title, description, and image URL yourself, and the tool renders live previews plus the corresponding og: and twitter: meta tag markup for you to copy into your page's <head>.
Why do Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Slack show different layouts for the same tags?
Each platform has its own card-rendering rules — Twitter/X uses twitter:card, twitter:title, etc., while Facebook and LinkedIn largely read the og: tags, and Slack unfurls links using a mix of both plus og:site_name. The four tabs mimic each platform's actual card layout so you can sanity-check all of them from one set of tags.
What image dimensions should I use for og:image?
The widely recommended size is 1200×630px for summary_large_image/large Facebook cards, which this tool assumes for the large preview boxes. Using a smaller or oddly-cropped image can result in awkward cropping or a blurry card on some platforms.
Why did my image preview show "Image failed to load"?
The tool tries to actually load the image URL you entered in an <img> tag. If the URL is unreachable, wrong, or blocked by CORS/hotlink protection, the browser cannot render it, and the tool shows that fallback message instead of a broken image icon.
Can I generate a summary (small image) Twitter card instead of summary_large_image?
Yes — the Twitter card type dropdown lets you switch between summary_large_image and summary, and the generated twitter:card meta tag value updates to match your selection.
