Word Cloud Generator
NewPaste any text and generate an instant word cloud on canvas, sized by word frequency with common stop words filtered out, downloadable as a PNG.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is the size of each word determined?
Word size scales linearly between the least and most frequent words remaining after filtering, so the most-repeated word in your text always appears largest and the least-repeated visible word appears smallest.
What does "ignore common words" filter out?
It removes a standard list of English stop words (the, and, is, of, to, etc.) that would otherwise dominate almost any word cloud by sheer frequency without being meaningful — turning it off includes every word exactly as typed.
Why do some low-priority words not appear in the cloud at all?
The layout searches for free space near the center for every word in frequency order, but skips a word if it can't find a non-overlapping position within a reasonable number of attempts — this mostly affects long, low-frequency words once the canvas is already crowded.
Can I control how many words are shown?
Yes, the "max words" field caps how many of the most frequent words are placed, from 5 up to 150, which is useful for keeping either a tight focused cloud or a dense, information-rich one.
Does the word cloud regenerate its layout every time I edit the text?
Yes — any change to the text, max words, stop-word setting, or color theme immediately recalculates frequencies and redraws the whole canvas from scratch.
