Wrangler Config Generator
NewGenerate a wrangler.jsonc for Cloudflare Workers with compatibility date, assets, routes, cron triggers and KV, D1, R2 and Workers AI bindings.
Replace the placeholder IDs with the ones from wrangler kv namespace create, wrangler d1 create, and wrangler r2 bucket create. Binding names become properties on env in your Worker.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I use wrangler.jsonc or wrangler.toml?
Both are supported; Cloudflare's newer docs favor wrangler.jsonc, which allows comments and has a JSON schema for editor validation.
What is compatibility_date?
It pins the Workers runtime behavior to a date so updates don't break your code unexpectedly. Use a recent date for new projects.
Where do binding IDs come from?
Create resources with wrangler (for example "wrangler kv namespace create") and paste the returned IDs over the placeholders.
Do I need nodejs_compat?
Only if your code or dependencies use Node.js built-in modules such as node:buffer or node:crypto.
