Alarm Clock
NewSet an alarm for a specific time of day and get an audible chime plus a browser notification when it rings, right from your browser tab.
The alarm rings using your browser tab, so this tab needs to stay open (it can be in the background or another tab) for the chime to fire at the set time. If the set time has already passed today, the alarm fires tomorrow at that time instead.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the alarm still ring if I close the tab?
No — the alarm relies on this browser tab staying open (it can be in the background or a different tab) since there's no server involved. Closing the tab entirely stops the countdown.
What happens if I set an alarm for a time that already passed today?
The tool automatically schedules it for the same time tomorrow instead, so you don't need to manually figure out the date — just pick the time of day you want.
Why does it ask for notification permission?
If you grant permission, the tool also fires a browser notification when the alarm rings, which is useful if the tab isn't currently visible. Denying permission still works fine — you'll just rely on the audible chime and on-page status text.
Can I test what the alarm sound will sound like before setting one?
Yes, the "Test sound" button plays the exact same five-note chime used when an alarm actually rings, so you can check your volume is at a level you'll notice.
