    Frequently Asked Questions

    What die types are supported?

The common tabletop set — d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, and d100 — plus a custom option that accepts any number of sides from 2 up to 1000, for games or simulations that need an unusual die.

    How random are the rolls?

Each roll uses `crypto.getRandomValues`, the same cryptographically strong random number source used for security-sensitive values, rather than `Math.random()`, giving higher-quality randomness than most simple dice-rolling scripts.

Can I roll multiple dice at once and see the total?

Yes — set the "Number of dice" field to roll up to 20 dice of the selected type in a single click, and the tool shows each individual result plus the summed total.

Does it keep a history of past rolls?

Yes — the last 10 rolls are listed below the results, each showing the die type, count, individual results, and total, so you can review recent rolls during a game session.

Is this suitable for tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons?

Yes — the full standard polyhedral dice set (d4 through d20) plus d100 for percentile rolls covers the dice used by most tabletop RPG systems, and the custom option handles any game-specific dice beyond that.
